Confirmation of Room Booking: The confirmation of room booking is sent to customers given e-mail address after the receipt of payment. The expenses of staying in the respective time will be denoted in the confirmation of room booking.
Warning! The receptionist has rights to cancel a not-guaranteed booking without warning in advance. In case of a not-guaranteed booking the customer is welcome to choose only rooms, which are not booked in the arrival date. If the customer does not arrive till 5 o’clock p.m. on the intended arrival date, then guest house "OSTMALA" reserves all rights to sell the room to other customers in case of a not-guaranteed booking booking. The Rules for the Cancellation of Room Booking: In case of a not-guaranteed booking, if the customer does not arrive till 5 o’clock p.m. in the intended arrival date, the receptionist reserves all rights to sell the room to other customers. If the customer cancels the room booking in the intended arrival date in case of guaranteed booking, the guest house OSTMALA reserves unilateral rights to compensate partly the loses due to the cancellation of room booking and all expenses, which have aroused due to the return of customer’s deposit payment by bank transfer or in cash, but not less than 20 (twenty) % from whole deposit payment in all cases, if not agreed differently in the contract. If the guaranteed room booking is canceled by the customer 7 days (local time) before the intended arrival date during seasonal time (May 1 – September 30) or 24 hours before the intended arrival time during the shoulder season (October 1 – April 30), the guest house compensates all expenses, which have aroused due to the return of customer’s deposit payment by bank transfer or in cash, but not less than 20 (twenty) % from whole deposit payment. The rules for Staying of Customer’s Guests: If your guests stay in your room after 11 o’clock p.m., please, register them in the reception. If an additional bed in not required, then the customer will not be charged additionally. Phone Calls: Phone calls are allowed in the reception. The customer will be charged additionally for calling abroad and calling to local mobile phones according to the price list. Transport Services: The guest house OSTMALA offers transport services on customers request from ferry terminal, railway terminal or bus station to the guest house and from the guest house to any required place. Transport services are not included in the room price and should be paid additionally in cash.
Pets: The customers are welcome to stay at guest house with their pets, which do not exceed 3 kg weight. The customers are charged additionally 10.00 LVL per day for each pet. Persons with disabilities: Persons with disabilities have free and safe access to their rooms. Dressing and inventory: It is forbidden to be naked or to be dressed in swimming suits, underwear or any other way of dressing, which might offend other customers, in the share rooms of guest house OSTMALA. Cyclists their bicycles may leave and maintain in the auxiliary room on the first floor. It is forbidden wear skiing boots and inappropriate dressing in the guest house. Skis and other inventory should be left in a particular place denoted by the receptionist. Ski maintaining might be done in the auxiliary room on the first floor.
Staying in the room: Please, mind internal rules of the guest house OSTMALA (peace at nights, do not make noise, keep the order in the rooms, separate waste according to the instructions, etc.). The Safety of Values and Money: The customers are welcome to use the safe box of guest house "OSTMALA" for keeping money, jewelry and other values. Guest house "OSTMALA" is responsible only for the values kept in the safe box. If the customers are interested, please, contact the receptionist. The Rules of Safety: It is forbidden to bring and keep flammable materials, to use personal electrical heaters in the rooms, to damage the inventory of guest house OSTMALA and to trouble other customers. It is also forbidden to light the candles, sparklers, Bengali lights and other similar items. To provide personal safety and peace, customers in strong alcoholic fuddle are not allowed to enter the guest house OSTMALA. The staff has rights to refuse serving customers, who are strongly drunk, and in such cases the prepaid money for room booking and other services will not be returned. Damages: To avoid misunderstandings, please, contact the receptionist in case you have stated any kind of damages in your room. If the damages have aroused due to the behavior of the customer, the customer will be charged according to the loses aroused. Delivery of Food and Drinks in the Room: In the reception customers may order the delivery of food and drinks in their rooms. 10% from the total price will be charged additionally apart from the bill. The customers should pay in cash immediately when the room service is done. The Use of Kitchen: The customers may cook and make drinks in the share kitchen, which is located on the second floor. Electrical oven, microwave oven, fridge, dish washer, the required kitchen inventory, plates and glasses are available in the share kitchen of guest house "OSTMALA". Medical services: Medical services, charged additionally, are available for all customers of guest house "OSTMALA". The first aid kit can be found in the reception on the first floor. Children Staying in the Guest House OSTMALA: Children younger than 18 years may stay in the guest house OSTMALA only in the supervision of their parents or any other authorized person. Children younger than 5 years may stay in their parents rooms free of charge. The safety of children is the responsibility of their parents or any other authorized person. It is forbidden to leave the children without supervision. The staying of children older than 5 years will be charged according to the price list. Suspension of services: If the customers do not mind internal rules of guest house OSTMALA, it might result in the suspension of services without compensation. Claims, suggestions, information: Customers are welcome to contact the receptionist in case there are any claims, questions and suggestions. The staff of guest house OSTMALA will provide you all information for services, excursions and will answer any question in Latvian, English, Spanish and Russian. The provision of confidentiality: Guest house OSTMALA guarantees not to use customers personal for selfish intentions, other targets and will not forward to the third parties.
